Lessons #

This type of package will be used for DE’s, Pre-Originals, Originals, Extensions, Renewals, Bonus/Comp and Gift Certificates.

Click on Add Package #

You can click on “add package” from the main menu dropdown, or click the dark blue “add package” button. Either one will open the pop up for you to create a new package.

Type in the FULL Name of the Lesson Package #

You can choose your own package names. Make it easy for the staff to understand to keep consistency within the program.

Accept or Change an Abbreviated version of the Package Name #

Agenda Master offers you an abbreviated version (to save room on the reports). You can use this or make a new abbreviation.

Open the dropdown for the SPS Code #

Choose the SPS Code (CRUCIAL) #

This step is crucial! The SPS code tells Agenda Master how to report your sales and cash to Online Reporting so that your weekly SPS reports are correct, and your staff and studio get their credit on the reports.

DE = Free first lesson. (DE System package Lesson Type)
PRE = First lesson for $10/$25/$50. (Pre Original System Package Lesson Type)

ORI = First Original Package. (Front Dept Lesson)

EXT = Extension Program. (Front Department Lesson)

REN = Renewal Program. (Back Department Lesson)

Non Unit = Coaching Lessons/Master Classes.

MISC = Miscellaneous Non lesson events – Medal Ball, Showcase, DOR, Cruise or Trip.

SUN = Non lesson Sundry items (shoes, TTE Payments, charity donations)

** All drop downs use “predictive text”. You can start typing or scroll through.

Click on Lesson Type #

Choose the appropriate Lesson Type for the package you are creating. #

Another CRUCIAL step for recording/reporting purposes.
All DE’s = Dance Evaluation. This is any first lesson that you give with $0 charge.
All Pre Originals = Pre Original. This is any first lesson that has any charge to it. $10, $25, $50.
The first two are system Packages. No Need to create Packages for the DE and PRE.

All Original/Foundation Programs = Front Department Lessons
All Extension Programs = Front Department Lessons
All Renewal Programs = Back Department Lessons
Any Bonus or Free lessons = Bonus/Comp Lessons

Coaching Lessons/Master Classes = Non Unit Private or Non Unit Group

These next two should NOT have any lesson type attached.
Miscellaneous Non lesson events – Medal Ball, Showcase, DOR, Cruise or Trip.
SUN = Non lesson Sundry items (shoes, TTE Payments, charity donations)

Click on Lesson Amount #

Enter the ACTUAL UNIT RATE that the studio charges for lessons. BEFORE any discounts, if any, are taken out.

Enter the # of Lesson included in this package #

Enter the amount of lessons you are selling along with this package. The Total Investment will auto calculate to avoid math errors.

**To avoid numerous Packages of the same type, I make ONE generic package that I can adjust with each Enrollment. Adjustments can be made to the lesson cost and number of units with each Enrollment. If your unit rate is on a sliding scale, Make additional Packages of this type.

Click on Discount Type #

If your studio chooses to give a discount on Packages, you can put in a Flat discount (Flat dollar amount) or Percentage discount (10% off for cash). This saves time when writing the Enrollment. You can skip this step if your school does NOT give a discount, or you want to give it at the time of Enrollment.

In the next field, put the discount number/amount/percentage after you choose the type of discount. Once entered, the Total investment will auto calculate.

Click on Units #

Click on 1 #

This tells AM how many lessons each session is worth. (adds and deducts the total each time lessons are posted.)

Double Check your work and click on Save #

The save button activates only after ALL required items are filled in. Double check your numbers and Total Investment before saving the package.

The package will be created on your Package List and is now available to use on enrollments #

SIDE NOTE1: Check Gift Certificate if you want to use this package on the Gift Certificate Module. (Don’t forget to hit Save) #

You should always make new Packages if you change your Packages price, name or # of units included to avoid errors on older enrollments.

Miscellaneous #

Miscellaneous Events are Studio Function, outside of regular lessons. Guest Parties, Medal Ball, Showcase, DOR, Trips/Cruises, Night on the Town, Destination Unknown, etc

Type the Name of the Miscellaneous Event #

Miscellaneous Events are Studio Function, outside of regular lessons. Guest Parties, Medal Ball, Showcase, DOR, Trips/Cruises, Night on the Town, Destination Unknown, etc

Choose MISC from the Dropdown #

The SPS Code tells Online Reporting where to credit the sale of this package

Scroll to find the specific Event Code that you’re planning. #

This will help you track the Misc Sales and will help auto create the Misc Service Reports for Dance-O-Rama’s

Put in the Event Price #

You can put in One Overall Package Price or Use the Variable Pricing option but entering $0. This will allow you to personalize their Showcase package.

Example: If your package price is $250 PLUS $50 per freestyle. Not every students final price will be $250.

Sundry #

Sundry items are Non-Lesson items that the studio sells which do not have a royalty fee attached. Such as: Shoes, Costumes, Dress Rentals, Jewelry, Donations to Charity, etc.

Non-Unit (Coaching) #

A Coaching Lesson is considered a NON UNIT lesson. It is a lesson outside of the student’s medalist program and is counted separately on the Student Dashboard and Reports.

Creating a new package for each individual coach is a great way to stay organized with the student accounts. Or, you can simply create a “Coaching Lesson” package and write the coaches name/date in the notes section.

If your studio sells coaching Packages, you can adjust the amount sold when you’re creating the Enrollment.
